Artist Statement    I started to learn drawing at 11 and received BA from San Jose State University and MFA from New YorkAcademy of Art, now a full-time artist. I paint portrait, landscape, and still life in Oil, usually from life and sometimes taking photos as reference. My goal is to express the beauty of human beings and the surrounding world in an approach that combines the best artist styles of the realists and the impressionists.
