Artist Statement    I'm a realist painter of portraits and landscapes, working in pastel, watercolor or oil, sometimes in plein air, but usually in my studio. I'm a signature member of several watercolor societies, and I've been fortunate in having my paintings accepted into 7 of the Top 100 shows for ARTS FOR THE PARKS. In 2000, I won the Region III AFTP award; in 2004 the Region I, and in 2006, my pastel painting, "One of the Fallen", won the Grand Prize.
