Artist Statement     Since 2001, Al’s work has been accepted into over 225 national and international exhibitions, receiving awards in over sixty percent of those shows. Included are 15 Best In Show honors. In 2007, Al’s work made the cover of Watercolor Magic, The Pastel Journal’s Best 100 (three entries), the upcoming Splash 10 (four entries), and was awarded top honors by the Louisiana Watercolor Society, the Mississippi Watercolor Society, and Pike’s Peak Watercolor Society.
