Artist Statement The whole town of Alberobello which is near the Adriatic consists of conical shaped houses made of stucco with roofs consisting of flat little rocks dug up while farming. Each roof has a cross white-washed on it. The “ inn “ we stayed at was one of them. It was a joy to paint !
