Evelyn Cowles, a lifelong animal enthusiast and an avid photographer specializes in oil paintings of sporting art and commissions of animal portraits. She is known for capturing the character and personality of her subjects and her attention to detail compliments her accurate anatomy. Her paintings have been featured on the cover of "The Chronicle of the Horse", in Polo Magazine's 2006 Sporting Art Edition and she was a finalist in the animal category of the 2006 Artist's Magazine.
