I work in a variety of drawing mediums and watercolor from life or from my own photography. This piece is done on Ampersand Pastel Board from a photo I took on a November morning drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. It had been raining and the clouds were lifting, giving a wonderful combination of subtle colors and greys as the layers of mountain shapes faded away on the horizon.
